②Existing room as an office is necessary (head office and office can be different location)

Point to be noted when renting an office
・Term of lease contract must be more than 1 year. (Rental office is permitted when the room has a right of lease)
・Office Lease Contract must be signed under the name of the company
・Rooms that are permitted to use as an office.(shops or studio) Room which purpose is only for residential use are not permitted.
→Company name must be shown at the entrance door and mailbox
There are not any requirements for the extent of the office, never the less there must have enough space for employees to work in the place. Immigration will check how many employees you hired and if there isenough space for those employees by documents.

In case foreign national residing outside Japan becomes representative director and establish company
If he/she has bank account in Japan→ at least one person is necessary as executives and shareholders.
If he/she doesn’t have bank account in Japan→ cooperator is essential in order to open account in bank and cooperator receive at least 1 stock. (You can buy the stock back after established the company)

Disadvantage of establishing company only by one person residing outside Japan
It is very difficult to open bank account under the name of company in Japan.

→Establishment of Investment Corporations/Tax report for commencement of payroll/Application for payment of withholding income tax on a semiannual/application for filling form tax returns
・Change the contractor of the rented office from individual to company
・Open a bank account under the name of the company and transfer capital fund/capital stock to this account. ・Formulate business plan
・Setting the amount of executive compensation
→if compensation is not pay, you can’t obtain Management visa
